CFTC, SEC Charge Pa. Resident With $50 Million Ponzi Scheme

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission said Thursday they have brought civil charges against Joseph S. Forte of Pennsylvania, who is accused of running a $50 million Ponzi scheme.

Authorities said Forte, of Broomall, Pa., recently confessed to federal officials after his alleged Ponzi scheme fell apart. It was unclear if criminal charges have been filed.

According to the SEC, Forte obtained the $50 million from as many as 80 different investors through the sale of securities in the form of limited partnership interests in his firm, Joseph Forte, L.P. They claim he told the investors he would invest their money into an account that trades in securities futures contracts, including S&P 500 stock index futures.

The CFTC's complaint, filed in a U.S. district court in Pennsylvania, accuses Forte of solicitation fraud, misappropriation of commodity pool funds, sending customers false account statements, and failing to register as a commodity pool operator.

The charges against Forte come at a time when Ponzi schemes are at the center of attention after it was revealed that Bernard L. Madoff, a renowned investor, was allegedly operating a $50 billion Ponzi scheme and managed to evade regulators for at least a decade.

Should the US have free medical for US Citiziens

I thought for the longest tiem that the US the most powerful country in the world should have free medical program of all US Citiziens. However I started noticing something a few years ago and don't like what I see. The welfare lazy bums are abusing the free medical they have. I was in th Hospital Emergency room last night, and saw a women with both her grand kids. I asked her what was wrong with them, she advised they have the sniffels. My grand kids who have two workign parents, were more sick then them and never seen a doctor. My grand kids have medical insurrance.
So I have a way of fixing the welfare free medical program. First I would make parents take a drug test atleast twice a year. I would make them have a co-pay , because if the lazy welfare people had to pay anything they wouldn't. They would go by something over the counter and docter the kids themself.

Government not bailing out auto industry

I don't like the idea that the US Government doesn't want to bail out the auto industry. I believe the auto company's are setting on a pile of money. Plus they ask the employees to take a pay cut. Thats fine if those employees don't want to go from 28 dollars down to say $20, I'm sure there are plenty of people that would take that job. 20 dollars an hours is more then I make, its better then nothing. Also I never heard anything about the Ceo's of GMC and Chrysler to take a pay cut, these guys make millions of dollars. Let the Ceo's take the first cut , there the ones that ran the business in the ground any way.
While I'm on the subject we should have never bailed out the banks. How hard is it to start up a bank, let them fail. Now an auto company would be hard to start up. No one today could start an automobile manufacturing plant.
Let the professional ball players bail them out they make millions a year. Or may iraq could bail them out, The car industry was what made the middle east.

The Managers will appoint judges, Sheriff's , and other elected officials. He is going to take the power of the people and put it in a very few peoples hands. Will this not open up corruption like we haven't seen since Al Capone days. Say I want to be that County manager, I have some stock piled money to gamble on. So I say Hey Mitch Daniels I'll give you this money for the County managers job. I get the job, and set up pretty nice. So A sheriff want a be, maybe a drug dealer, wants to be Sheriff. I tell him pay be enough and you got the job. Boom I have my money back. So then I make more from Judges, treasurer, clerks, assessors, or more. Then I am pretty well off if you don't mind the corruption in this deal. There will be too many back room and under the table deals. Let me tell you people , people that buy seats, will be corrupt. I have no idea how Mitch Daniels ever got elected again.

Mitch Daniels Indiana Governor is a communist

I just heard a startling story today. I'm sure its been in the works sometime, but I just heard it. Mitch Daniels Indiana Governor who had just been elected to his second term. Which is beyond my understanding how or who elected him. Anyhow he had decided to make us more like the communist, the democracy we are suppose to be. Mitch in his stupid wisdom has decided to make a position of a county manager . This person holding this position will have the power to appoint the other elected seats. He will appoint such past elected seats as , Sheriff , Auditor, assessor, and so on. Does this not take the power away from the people. No one will be elected again in the Indiana county seats. Does this not open a great possibility of corruption that hasn't been seen since Al Capone days of Chicago. Lets say I want to be Sheriff and have a bit of money set aside , why not just offer this money to the County manager to get the position. He may become the richest man in the county and will control everything. It will be much like Communism. So we in Indiana are just powerless to select or elect or county leaders. No one will be elected but the governor, and lets try to get this piece of crap Mitch Daniels out of office next time. Or maybe impeach him
So in retrospect, don't piss of the county Assessor who will be appointed by Mitch's man, because he will be able to raise your taxes, and you will have no recourse, but to pay it.

As I write this, I am waiting for the Results that don't look favorable for America. I just have to comment about some alarming facts I took in while watching the results. Obama paid 630 Million dollars for the presential seat, that job will pay him 2 million in 4 years. Why would someone spend so much for the job. I know most of it was Oprahs money, never the less he bought the white house. I guess everything in America is for sale these days.
Also it appears that the Black, the homeless, the mindless young people voted Barack Hussien Obama into office. When I was around 10 years old an older neighborhood friend gave the book of Revelations, that was 40 years ago . I started reading that book then, and it scared me to death. I had lost the book of revelations some years ago, but found the part that scares me today, it reads like this;

" The anti-Christ : will be a man in his 40's of Muslim descent , who will come out of nowhere , deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a Massive Christ-like appeal. The prophesy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world pace, and when he is in power , will destroy everything.

People on Welfare should be drug tested

The Welfare system which was started in good faith for taking care of the sick and elderly, has been the most over abused system in the US government. Don't get me wrong here, I believe some people receiving welfare should get it. However I believe over half should not.
If I am elected President then here is what I propose to do cut wasteful spending of Welfare money
1) Anyone receiving government welfare should be drug tested at Random, at least 2 times a year. If you fail then you better be looking for a job.
2) Any criminal arrest, you better be looking for a job. I would say almost 80 percent of criminal activity is done by people receiving Welfare. Don't get me wrong, Not all of these people are criminals.
3) You can only be on welfare for max of 5 years. It doesn't have to be straight 5 years, it can be split up. The government didn't ask for you to be born, and didn't take you to raise. So get a job.
4) If you clean your house, get a job. If you drive a car you can work. If you set home playing poker on the computer all day, get a job. If you take care of your kids, get a job. If you can do any of these things you can work, many people make a descent living doing the everyday choirs you do. I have a friend who is paralyzed from chest down, who holds down 2 jobs.

I think these steps would eliminate the fat out of the Welfare system. You elect me president and I will get you off Welfare.

BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - Miss Teen Louisiana lost her crown 11 days early, after being arrested on charges of eat & run and carrying marijuana.
Bossier City spokesman Mark Natale (nuh-TAL-ee) said Wednesday that police found 18-year-old Lindsey Evans' pocketbook when they were called to a restaurant where four young women left Saturday without paying a $46.07 check.
He says her driver's license and suspected marijuana were inside - and police recognized Evans when the group returned for her pocketbook. He says all four were booked with theft, and three were booked on drug charges.
Paula Miles - president of sponsor RPM Productions, Inc. - says Evans was stripped of the title Tuesday because of her arrest.

Jim Norton's new book 'I Hate Your Guts' comes out Election Day

Comedian Jim Norton released a new book with the title "I Hate Your Guts" which takes aim at a number of Hollywood and political figures.
The comedian from New Jersey will release the book on November 4, same day as the national elections. In the book, Norton talks liberally about people he dislikes from Al Sharpton, Heather Mills and Senator Hillary Clinton.
"It was like emotionally vomiting," Norton says of the book.
"It was not nice to attack all these people. I was due to do a second book. I wanted to do something that feels real, with real opinion. It's nice to get it out there."
